20 Watt Par 38 Low Energy Reflector Light Bulb Lighting Nigels Eco Store { } 120W incandescent equivalent. The low energy mini spiral bulb is enclosed in a silvered glass bulb, giving the appearance of a conventional bulb but with less than one quarter of the power consumption. This Megaman low energy lightbulb is more compact and longer lasting than its rivals, and subjectively brighter due to a clearer glass 'skin'. It''s a perfect replacement for incandescent reflectors. Low power consumption and extremely long operating life, making it suitable for lengthy and continuous operation. Optimum lumen efficacy is maintained via the patented cooling tube. Comes in standard E27 screw fitting. Ideal for down lights and spot lights. You might also be interested to learn that Megaman energy saving light bulbs have a mercury content of less than 3mg which is an industry first. The protective silicone sleeve on Megamanbulbs does not allow the mercury to escape - making them extremely safe.They are also RoHS compliant (i.e. they Restrict Hazardous Substances) - at the heart of the Megaman factory is a lamp tube recycling facility, and a treatment facility for wastewater. At the end of their life, these energy saving light bulbs should be recycled (easily) at any household recycling site. (This is a big difference between tungsten and CFLs - you can actually recycle CFLs whilst Tungsten bulbs just go in the bin.)
