Yes Baby is the first and only self-managing lubricant system for couples trying to conceive that is both sperm and vaginal health friendly. The world's first certified organic fertility friendly lubricant system. Yes Baby  contents: 7 doses of Sperm friendly lubricant - for use  at  most fertile period 3 doses of Vagina friendly moisturising lubricant - for use after fertile period 5 ovulation tests to determine the most fertile period Detailed instructions Approximately 70% of couples trying to conceive experience vaginal dryness, thus making sexual intercourse painful. All traditional, glycerine based lubricants damage sperm. So couples using glycerine-based lubricants, such as KY  Jelly*, may inadvertently prevent conception rather than enabling it. The two main factors that damage  sperm are pH and osmolality**, the osmolality of glycerine-based lubricants is too high for sperm and often the pH is too low*. Vaginal pH is typically acidic, and therefore hostile to sperm, except during ovulation (the most fertile period). Sperm friendly lubricants match semen pH (slightly alkaline) and osmolality, to ensure sperm longevity. Critically, when vaginal pH is elevated above its typical protective acidity the likelihood of infection such as Bacterial vaginosis  (BV) or Thrush is significantly increased. Incidence of BV is linked to various reproductive and pregnancy related events including early pregnancy loss, preterm labour and preterm delivery***. Therefore, when trying to conceive it is vitally important vaginal health is maintained, to give a fertilised egg the best possible chance of developing to full term. So the use of just a sperm friendly lubricant (i.e. Yes baby pack 1) could challenge healthy vaginal pH. Uniquely Yes Baby has the solution by providing pack 2, the vagina friendly moisturising lubricant to restore the protective acidic vaginal pH, thus reducing the likelihood of infection. Yes Baby - Ingredients: Yes Baby Pack 1 (Sperm friendly): Aloe  vera*, Cyamopsis tetragonolobus (Guar gum)*, Ceratonia siliqua (Locust bean gum)*, Lonicera caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Sodium chloride, Citric acid, Sodium hydroxide. Yes Baby Pack 2 (Vagina friendly):Aloe vera*, Cyamopsis tetragonolobus (Guar gum)*, Ceratonia siliqua (Locust bean gum)*,  Lonicera  caprifolium  (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Sodium chloride, Citric acid> *Organically grown ingredients. Lewis and Neil McClure **Osmolality definition: Osmolality is the measurement of a liquid's ability to attract water. The stronger the concentration of sugars such as Glycerine, the stronger the osmolality. It can be described as the "water-pulling-power", so a lubricant with too high osmolality can pull enough water out of sperm to severely damage them. ***Published in final edited form in Fertil Steril. 2007 November; 88(5): 1396-1403.
