Reselling your old phone is the ultimate form of recylcing of course as if someone can use your old phone, they won't need to buy a new one which means precious resources are not needed, but even if it can't be sold or indeed even if it's broken, it can be recycled and have all it's useful parts removed and reused and the rest can be turned in to energy!
