If You Care Sandwich and Snack Bags are greaseproof, and provide a natural barrier which prevents grease or fat from penetrating. They are not treated with petroleum based paraffin wax or any other wax. Like all If You Care paper products, these sandwich and snack bags are totally chlorine-free, as a result of which, no chlorine is dumped into lakes, rivers and streams.
